Police are hunting two men who attempted to rob a West Norfolk house at knifepoint earlier today.

Two people were taken to hospital, one with a knife wound, following the incident in Beach Road, Snettisham, which was reported at around 12.20pm.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said two men, one armed with a knife, had entered the property and demanded money.

The male resident suffered a knife injury to his face in the incident, while a woman sustained a minor injury when she was knocked to the ground.
