Police investigate spate of bin fires in Swaffham

Police are investigating after a spate of bin fires in Swaffham in the early hours of yesterday morning (Tuesday, April 30).

Fire crews were called to a number of blazes on Market Place in the town between midnight and 1.45am, which officials said were believed to have been started deliberately.

Police said a man had been arrested following CCTV enquiries, but he has since been released with no further action.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incidents and have asked anyone with information or footage to call them on 101 quoting reference 36/28645/19.
