Police investigating after reports of man with firearm at Watlington’s Millennium Green

Police are investigating after a man was seen threatening to harm himself with a gun in the heart of a village.

Officers were called to the Millennium Green in Watlington at 10.22pm on Sunday to reports of a man with a firearm.

Police attended, including armed response officers, and carried out a thorough search of the area.

No trace of the man or weapon was found.

Enquiries are ongoing.
