Police presence at North Lynn following attack on man

Police and detectives were still on the scene of an attack that happened in North Lynn last night.

A man was taken to the QEH hospital in Lynn by air ambulance around 6.40pm last night following multiple injuries to his torso and face.

The attack was said to have taken place in the St Edmundsbury and Coulton Close area, which was cordoned off earlier today.

Police were spotted on both roads, but had no comment to make.

Social media users say the man was "shot" but this is yet to be confirmed by police.

There is no new information on the condition of the victim, and a woman in her 30's was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.
