Police seal off Bridge Road in Sutton Bridge following outbuilding fire

Police have sealed off the centre of Sutton Bridge following an outbuilding fire.

Officers have closed Bridge Road between Railway Lane and Cross Keys Bridge as plumes of smoke can be seen over the village.

A commuter has reported that the road has been closed with six police cars and two to three fire engines in the village.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had crews from Long Sutton and Holbeach, as well as Lynn, in attendance at the scene of the blaze, which was reported at about 4.20pm.

Police have been contacted for comment.
