King's Lynn pre-loved wedding dress shop is stocked up
Aime Moi Encore, a bridal shop offering pre-loved, new and never-been-worn wedding dresses, has now been fully stocked.
Zera Knights, 25, owns the shop, which is situated on St Anne's Street in Lynn.
Ms Knights has always wanted to become a business owner, and as she will be getting married herself next year she is well qualified to help any brides-to-be find their fairytale dress.
Prices range from £40 up to £950 with different sizes and styles from full skirted fairytale dresses to classic white and ivory simple gowns.
As you enter the stylishly decorated premises the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, with the offer of refreshments, soothing music, chaise-longue, a full length vintage mirror and a variety of dresses hanging up on wooden ladders.
Old-fashioned trunks and cases house extra storage and there is a cabinet with accessories plus a fitting area with a step-up and curtains across for privacy.
Ms Knights said: "I had my first appointment for a fitting tonight. Clients can browse the dresses and try them on.
"I have had so many enquiries and emails.
"I have worked in customer service and high fashion retail and I have been wanting to do this for a very long time."
Some of the dresses are new as restrictions due to the pandemic have caused weddings to be postponed or cancelled.
Other dresses in the collection are from photo shoots or pre-loved.
Ms Knights offers a bespoke service and may even choose one from the collection herself.
She said: "People dream of the dress they will wear at their wedding.
"I have got my dress but I might wear one of these."
