Pre-school in Snettisham celebrates its ‘Good’ Ofsted report

A pre-school which has served a West Norfolk community for decades is celebrating after recently receiving a ‘Good’ Ofsted report.

Snettisham Bobtails, which moved to the same site as the primary school on School Road in 2017, provides early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children.

The report says the early years organisation was found to be ‘Good’ in all areas, including the quality of education, behaviours and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and overall effectiveness.

The inspector says that children at Snettisham Bobtails are “enthusiastic learners who readily lead their own play”, and staff monitor their progress to ensure any gaps in learning are “quickly identified and managed”.

It adds that the management team “demonstrates a strong commitment to improvement”.

Eunice Denton, administrator at the pre-school, said: “We guide children to learn through play and encourage them to explore through their own experiences, respecting and valuing their contributions.”
