Princess Charlotte plays good neighbour around Anmer
Pensioners on the royal estate at Sandringham got a right royal surprise when Princess Charlotte came calling delivering food parcels.
The little girl, who today celebrates her fifth birthday, was joined by her mum and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and brothers Prince George, six, and Prince Louis, two, as they volunteered for a Norfolk charity in distributing food to the needy at this time of lockdown.
Pictures of the day were taken by her mother the Duchess of Cambridge, and show Charlotte delivering home-made pasta to doors around the area in a van from the Sandringham Visitor Centre.
The family were reported to have got soaked doing their rounds but the pictures show a very happy Charlotte enjoying her work.
Over the past five weeks, the Queen’s Sandringham staff have been preparing and delivering meals for pensioners and vulnerable people living in the local area.
Buckingham Palace has said some 1,000 meals were made and delivered in the first week alone.
