Princess of Wales spotted with children visiting Eric’s Fish and Chips in Thornham
The Princess of Wales and her children have been spotted by holiday-makers at an award-winning coastal chippy.
A holiday homeowner has claimed seeing Kate with her three children George, Charlotte and Louis at Eric’s Fish and Chips in Thornham.
Kate is not the first famous face to have visited Eric’s, as cook and TV show host Delia Smith and comedian Jack Whitehall were both spotted at the venue last year.
Speaking to holiday provider Parkdean Resorts, the holiday home owner said: “I was amazed when I arrived at Eric’s in Thornham and spotted Kate and the kids.
“We've been regulars at Eric’s for a while, so it’s fantastic to see the word spreading about how great it is. It is now officially ‘fit for a royal’.”
A spokesperson from Eric’s Fish and Chips added: “With the Royals’ Norfolk home not being too far from our chippy as well as them spending a lot of time in the area trying and visiting different places, it’s great and an honour that they chose to visit us.
“Following Delia Smith’s visit, we noticed a big influx in custom with people wanting to come and try the famous ‘Fried Jam Sandwiches’ for themselves.”
It is not the first time that the Princess of Wales has been spotted out and about in West Norfolk. In 2018, she was seen shopping in The Range on Lynn’s Hardwick Industrial Estate.
Eric’s Fish and Chips owned by Eric Snaith, who has been in business since 2015.
