The wet weekend weather failed to dampen the spirits of the public when the Snettisham-based Norton Hill Light Railway opened its doors and four steam engines to the West Norfolk public.
Organised by the Hunstanton Rotary Club, the event raised more than £5,000 over the two days.
The money raised will be split between the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the Magpie Society and First Huntsanton Scouts.
Maggie Ponder, from Hunstanton Rotary Club, said: “Numbers were slightly down, but despite the weather everyone had a fantastic time.”
Norton Hill Light Railway opens its doors to the public on a number of weekends during the summer to raise money for local good causes.
Lynn’s Round Table will have an event on Saturday, August 8, followed by the Lions Club on Saturday, August 22.
