World Book Day at Great Massingham Primary School

Great Massingham Primary School celebrated World Book Day over two days.

Children came dressed as their favourite characters on Wednesday, and the next day, local children’s author Andrew Bickerton visited the school to read his latest book ‘Wayne Goes Wild’.

It tells the story of Wayne, a wasp, who wants to be famous but starts behaving very badly after eating ripe plums.

He eventually learns that friends are more important than fame.

Andrew will be launching his new book on Saturday, March 25 at Great Massingham Village Hall.
