King's Lynn Whitefriars CE Primary Academy displays art exhibition at Hanse House gallery




Whitefriars CE Primary Academy displayed an art exhibition at Lynn's Hanse House gallery.

The artworks were available to the public from Tuesday to Thursday, after which some of the pieces will be on individual display at the Lynn school.

The academy was helped by Arts Society King's Lynn (TASKL) young arts coordinator Tricia Rowlands.

Head of art Sarah Craig explained: "Tricia used to be teacher with us.

"When she retired she worked with the arts society. Some of her team organised it with us.

"A couple of the parents said it was wonderful to see. We pick a different theme every year. We've had water and famous artists in the past and this year it was 'recycled'.

"People were impressed with the re-use of the recycled pieces. It was really fantastic for the children. the younger on got particularly excited about it.
