Deputy headteacher Dave Martin said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part.”

Kingsley Healthcare’s regional activities coordinator Marcia Hughes said: “I was thrilled to see so many children taking part. Community links are so important for the home and remind us all that connected we are all part of a bigger picture.

“The children’s enthusiasm and creativity is infectious and now residents within the home can enjoy that too through the poppies.”
