Reffley Community School pupils meet a magician in 2014

Children across West Norfolk were spellbound by magician Olly Day when he visited six schools during January 2014, teaching lessons on road safety.

This picture was taken at Reffley Community School in Lynn, which had been one of the very first schools to watch his show when it was launched with Norfolk County Council’s road safety team in 1993.

With his box of tricks, Olly once again captivated pupils with his mix of magic, jokes and story-telling.

Using props and furry puppets, he reminded children of important road rules including stop, look and listen, stay bright and night and always click on a seat belt in a car.
