Pupils from King’s Lynn school earn East Anglian Air Ambulance challenge badges
Pupils from a West Norfolk school have been reaching new heights in their learning this term.
Youngsters from St Michael’s Academy in Lynn have been proudly earning their East Anglian Air Ambulance challenge badges and taking part in a creative local history project.
Pupils have been fully immersed in a first aid training course, developing vital life-saving skills as part of their Air Ambulance challenge.
The initiative, supported by the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity, is designed to educate children on emergency responses, health awareness, and the work carried out by crews.
The hands-on sessions gave pupils the chance to practice CPR, understand how to respond to an emergency, and learn how the service operates.
Meanwhile, Year 5 and 6 pupils have also been working with Eastern Angles on a project involving audio stories linked to the King's Lynn Calling project, linked to the Lynn Festival.
