Queen attends church as Prince Harry 'summit' interest engulfs Sandringham

It was a case of business as usual for the Queen this morning as she attended church at Sandringham.

The 93-year-old monarch left the St Mary Magdalene Church a short time ago following the regular Sunday service, as the West Norfolk estate finds itself at the centre of intensive royal scrutiny.

The fallout is continuing from last week's announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they intend to "step back" from their roles as senior royals.

It has been widely reported this morning that the Queen will hold talks with Prince Harry, along with his father, the Prince of Wales, and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, tomorrow to discuss future arrangements in what is being seen as a "summit" meeting.

One event that is expected to take place before then is the presentation of the annual gold medal by the Queen to the top performing A-level student from Lynn's King Edward VII (KES) Academy last summer.

Arminas Bartkus is due to receive the award, which dates back to 1864.
