Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn raises loo seat issue

More news, no ads

It has been fuelling the battle of the sexes ever since WCs were invented ... but just to make it clear this appeal is nothing to do with toilet etiquette.

Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital is appealing for the return of raised toilet seats, as in the sort used for people after they have undergone operations, such as hip replacements.

The tweet also asked for people to return other items such a crutches, or frames, anything with a QEH label on that is no longer being used.

The equipment amnesty says: "If you are no longer using the items, we are appealing for their return, so that we can recycle and re-issue to help others with their treatment and discharge from hospital. Please return to our Rehabilitation Services.

"To find out more, please contact Jason Edwards, Equipment Practitioner, jason.edwards@qehkl.nhs.uk, or call 07554 334988."
