RAF Marham considering who to give jet to for free




Officials at RAF Marham are considering who to give a jet to for free after asking the public to claim the aircraft last month.

The Victor Gate Guardian faces the scrap unless it is claimed due to urgent structural work being required to prevent it falling apart.

People had until the end of February to register their interest in the jet.

A RAF Marham spokesman said: "We are now going through all the requests before any decision is made."

Those interested had to show they can carry out the appropriate work on the jet.
