An annual village fun day has been hailed a success, despite the poor British summer weather.
The Fun Day Spectacular at the William Burt Centre, West Winch, was marred by rain on Sunday afternoon, but fortunately it failed to dampen the spirits of visitors.
The day, organised by Steve Perrin and Caroline Pettit, provided fun and activities for all ages. Attractions included inflatables, bumper boats, model car racing, face painting, zorb balls, birds of prey from Starlight Raptors and a variety of games. There was also jazz music from the King Swingers in the evening.
Mr Perrin said: “We’re happy with how it went, and people had fun despite the rain.”
