Snettisham Antiques and Outrageous Vintage offers treasure trove of vintage jewellery, clothes and more at Poppyfields Retail Park
A newly-opened shop is a treasure trove for antique-lovers which has become a new addition to a village retail park.
Emma Curtis opened Antiques and Outrageous Vintage in Poppyfields Retail Park, Snettisham, and has turned her hobby into a business.
The former horticulturist is an avid collector of Victoriana – objects from the Victorian era – and the shop, which opened on March 18, is a hoard of curiosities.
Emma said: “I used to work as a professional landscape gardener, but I have now turned my hobby into a business.
“Old things have history and there is a weight to an item when someone has loved and treasured it.
“It wouldn’t have survived if someone hadn’t done that.”
Her small independent business also includes a search service allowing customers to ask for certain items, and Emma fixes and repairs vintage jewellery.
She said: “My collection is eclectic and unusual and I sell a lot more antiques.
“A lot of people come in for a chat and talk about old things and I offer a friendly and knowledgeable service.”
Her colleague, Tita, rents and sells vintage clothes in a part of the shop.
