Preparations are continuing for the Lynn News’ election hustings event next month and we want you to tell us what to ask your would-be MPs.

All five of the main parties’ candidates for the North West Norfolk constituency have agreed to take part in the debate, which will take place at the College of West Anglia’s Lynn campus on Tuesday, April 21, at 6.30pm.

And today is your chance to be in the audience on the night and ask a question of the candidates.

To register your interest, email your name, address and a contact telephone number to no later than 5pm next Friday, March 20.

If necessary, a ballot will then take place and the names of those selected will be held on the door. Audience members should bring photo identification with them on the night.

When registering, you can also submit one question via the same email address which may be put to the panel on the night. The questions will be collated ahead of the event.

The panel, which is to be chaired by Lynn News news editor Allister Webb, will feature Conservative candidate Henry Bellingham, Labour’s Jo Rust, Toby Coke for UKIP, Hugh Lanham for the Liberal Democrats and Michael de Whalley of the Green Party.

If you are chosen and are subsequently unable to attend, please phone 01553 817329 to let us know so that your seats can be reallocated.
