Residents urged to be vigilant after phone scams reported in North Norfolk




Police are urging residents to be vigilant following a number of telephone scams in the North Norfolk area, including Fakenham.

In one incident, an elderly couple were coerced into withdrawing a total of £12,000 by a caller who claimed to be a police officer from a fraud team.

And in a separate incident, a man in his 80s, from Fakenham, received a phone call from a man claiming to be a police officer.
