Reward offered in hunt for convicted rapist who may be in Norfolk
A cash reward is being offered for information about the whereabouts of a convicted rapist who escaped from prison earlier this month and may be in Norfolk.
Stephen Tierney, 39, escaped from the North Sea Camp open prison in Lincolnshire more than two weeks ago.
And police are said to be investigating possible sightings of him in Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, where he is known to have links.
Today, Lincolnshire Police has announced that a cash reward of up to £1,000 is being offered for information given to the crime charity Crimestoppers that leads to his arrest.
They can be contacted by phoning 0800 555111 or online here.
Officers say Tierney, who absconded on July 3, does pose a risk to the public, particularly to anyone who may enter a relationship with him, and should not be approached.
They have urged him to hand himself in immediately and warn that anyone who may be helping him can also be prosecuted.
