Road repairs to take place at West Norfolk sites

Two road repair projects in West Norfolk will be completed later this month, county roads chiefs have announced.

Overnight resurfacing work is due to be undertaken on The Street, Marham, at its junction with Burnthouse Drove on Friday, April 17, from 7pm.

And two nights of repairs to Clenchwarton Road at West Lynn, near the entrance to the East Coast Business Park, are scheduled to take place from Saturday, April 18, both from 8pm to 6am the following morning.

Road closures will be in place whilst both projects, which Norfolk County Council chiefs say are essential, are undertaken.

The authority has suspended non-urgent highways work, because of the coronavirus crisis.

But it says emergency repairs are continuing and essential works will take place where workers can follow the current restrictions.
