Norfolk County Council’s work to resurface pavement on New Road in Burnham Overy Staithe expected to take five weeks




Work to resurface a pavement is set to go ahead this month, with a road closure in place for five weeks.

Norfolk County Council has announced it will be carrying out roadworks on New Road, in Burnham Overy Staithe, from Monday, May 20 until Tuesday, June 18,

Between 7am and 7pm, for 250m from the junction of the A149, the road will be closed, though vehicle access to properties, businesses and the village hall will be maintained and a fully signed diversion route will be in place.

Costing £60,000, the repair works will see the old and damaged kerbs removed and replaced, a brand-new asphalt surface laid and the junction resurfaced.
