Residents in Hunstanton are being warned to be vigilant this afternoon amid fears rogue traders may be operating in the resort.
The appeal comes after police were alerted to white circles which had been painted on driveways in Tudor Crescent, shortly before 5pm on Saturday.
PCSO Chris Stevens, of Hunstanton police, said: “We’re urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.
“These kind of markings are commonly used to indicate addresses which are either vulnerable or have vulnerable people living there, which then can be targeted for criminal activity.”
Anyone with information about suspected rogue traders operating in the area is asked to contact police on 101.
