A photographer for the Lynn News has had two of his Royal pictures shortlisted in an online national competition.
The pictures taken by Adam Fairbrother, from Wisbech, are shown on the News Media Association’s website.
Both pictures are entered in the Royal Rota in Action category.
The images have been selected as part of the NMA’s Royal Rota photography competition to find the best royal photography the industry has to offer.
Mr Fairbrother’s first picture captures a mischievous-looking Prince George at his sister Princess Charlotte’s christening at Sandringham in July last year.
His second photo shows a proud-looking Duchess of Cambridge holding Princess Charlotte at her christening.
Mr Fairbrother, a freelance, said: “I was quite surprised at my pictures being short-listed. I was one of six photographers at Princess Charlotte’s christening, which was undoubtedly one of the biggest events of last year.
“It’s the joys of being a press photographer. When you go to a job you never know what to expect.
“Of the two pictures, my favourite is the one of the Duchess of Cambridge holding Princess Charlotte.”

The results of the public vote will be used to produce a shortlist, published in time for the Queen’s official birthday on June 11.
