West Winch architects gain safety training certificates




Employees from architects firm Ian H Bix Associates, based in West Winch, have successfully completed a training course relating to safety in the construction industry.

The course was delivered by Stuart Haysman, of Lynn-based Human Capital Department, who presented the participants with their certificates last week.

They completed Construction Design and Management (CDM) awareness training, which ensures that they are aware of and working to construction industry standards which include health and safety standards and regulations.

Said Rod Lee, director of Human Capital Department: "The regulations ensure buildings are designed to industry standards and all the correct procedures and documentation are carried out."

CDM regulations help to plan work in the industry so risks involved are managed from start to finish and ensure that information about them is shared with appropriate people.
