Hunstanton Sailing Club donates £1,250 to nearby RNLI lifeboat station




Hunstanton Sailing Club has donated £1,250 to the charity which saves lives at sea.

Many of the crew at the nearby RNLI lifeboat station are also members of the 300-strong sailing club.

Club members, who take part in kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing and paddle sports, have the option to donate towards the RNLI when they pay their memberships.

Funds are also raised at quiz nights held throughout the year.

Sailing club commodore Jason Richardson handed over the cheque to Ian Devenney, a hovercraft pilot and commander, at a barbecue for the RNLI crew.
