Scouts group in West Norfolk marks 50th anniversary with activity day

The royal wedding was not the only cause of celebration last weekend as the 5th King's Lynn Scouts marked their milestone anniversary with an activity day.

Thousands gathered at nearby Sandringham on Saturday to watch the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex tie the knot. And, at the same time, members of the 5th King's Lynn Scouts group marked its 50th anniversary by taking part in a family activity day at Wolferton.

Members were welcome to try out a number of activities including supervised shooting and archery lessons.

And, once dinner time came around, they could cook up and enjoy their own dishes or simply grab a quick snack.

The 5th King's Lynn Scouts group is welcoming new members who are aged between 10 and a half and 14-years-old.
