Search is on for best small businesses across East of England as awards scheme is launched
The search is on to find the best small firms from across the East of England with the Federation of Small Businesses launching its annual awards scheme this week.
From exporters to start-ups, innovators to green businesses, family businesses to the best young entrepreneurs, small firms from the region are being encouraged to enter the awards, with the winners announced at a ceremony at Newmarket Racecourse on April 5, 2019.
Entries can now be made up to February 22. The successful regional firms will be in with a chance of progressing to the UK national final which takes place in London in May, when 10 UK category award winners will be announced, from which the FSB Small Business of the Year 2019 will be chosen.
Details on how to enter can be found at www.fsbawards.co.uk.
FSB East Anglia development manager Andrew Mower said: “Small businesses and the self-employed from across the East of England contribute so much to our economy and our communities. The FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards recognise the best, most innovative and most determined of these, from every sector, industry and background.
“This is why we choose to keep entries to the awards free, and have them open to all smaller businesses and self-employed people, whether they are current FSB members or not.”
