A new shop located in St Anne's House in Lynn selling pre-owned wedding dresses and ball gowns is due to open on Friday, November 26.

Zera Knights, owner of Aime Moi Encore, is offering brides-on-a-budget a selection of wedding dresses, ballgowns and prom dresses, as well as shoes and accessories.

"I offer a good bridal experience and offer a one to one service. If I don't have a dress for a customer I'll help them find the perfect dress," said Zera.

Zera was inspired to open her store after getting engaged herself just before the first lockdown.

She said: "I lost income during Covid and found it a complete nightmare to find a wedding dress."

After being encouraged by her partner, Zera decided to take a leap and start a business.

She received help from NWES, which helps small businesses get started.

She said: "I received great help to start up business help from NWES. They assisted with all my documents and offered free guidance and courses."

Aime Moi Encore also offers a service where people can bring their old dresses to Zera to sell on their behalf.

"I want to help people who have dresses in their wardrobe they no longer need to make a bit of money," said Zera.

The French name Aime Moi Encore, translating to "love me again", was inspired by Zera's French connections with her mother living in France.

Shoppers and friends and family of the bride-to-be can sit on the velvet red sofa located behind the long windows letting in plenty of light for shoppers to see potential future wedding dresses hung up on a homemade wooden rack.
