Fire in North Wootton

A bungalow in Frederick Close, North Wootton, was badly damaged by fire last night.

Norfolk Fire Service was alerted to the blaze at 9.15pm and were dealing with the flames until shortly before 1am.

Crews from King's Lynn and Sandringham stations wore breathing apparatus and used main, hose reel jets and a hydrant to extinguish the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hot-spots within the property.

Daylight revealed that the property had been badly damaged by the blaze. The roof revealed gaping holes through the tiles.
