Signal fault causes West Norfolk train delays
Train services to and from West Norfolk are being disrupted by a signalling problem this morning.
Operator Great Northern says a fault in the Royston area is affected services from Lynn, Watlington and Downham towards London.
Current delays are estimated to be around 30 minutes and the disruption is expected to continue until at least 10am.
The company says: "In this particular situation the fault has been confirmed as a 'Track Circuit Failure'.
"This means the signalling system is unable to automatically verify if the next section of track past the affected signal is clear."
Tickets are being accepted on Greater Anglia services.
