Six ordered out of Downham town centre after disorder reports

Police have warned they will be increasing patrols in Downham town centre today after several people were ordered to stay out of the area over alleged anti-social behaviour.

Officers said in a social media post that six people were given dispersal orders yesterday afternoon following reports of disorder.

The orders are meant to bar their recipients from returning to the stated area for 48 hours.

And, in response to one witness, officers said they would be "actively in the area" today in an effort to prevent any breaches of the order.
