Hunstanton slimmer earns Miss Slinky title following weight loss success

A slimmer from Hunstanton has earned the Miss Slinky title following her impressive weight loss efforts.

Louise Szewczuk-Tether, 46, has reduced her body mass index (BMI) and is on her way to being five stones lighter.

Her initial weight upon joining Slimming World, run by Jo Jackson, was 19 stone and she has managed to drop it just over 14 stone.

Jo said : “Louise’s friend and husband were worried about her weight gain and she has made the commitment attending the weekly group and is able to bring her son along which has made it easier.

“She now cooks family friendly meals and is looking forward to kayaking in Colorado, something she thought she might not be able to do being the weight she was.

She added: “My group at the Hunstanton Community Centre has had 34 new members this month.”
