The Rose & Crown at Snettisham receives award in 2021 Good Hotel Guide
A hotel at Snettisham has been highlighted as a top spot for visitors to bring their dogs in the 2021 Good Hotel Guide.
The Rose & Crown has been named Editor’s Choice Dog Friendly Place to Stay in the guide. Dogs staying over receive a doggy welcome pack and they are made to feel at home in the hotel's garden, bars or Garden Room.
Owners of the fourteenth century pub, Anthony and Jeannette Goodrich are delighted with the award. Said Jeannette: "We are thrilled to receive this award. Dogs have always been welcome at The Rose and Crown, from beautiful local labradors snoozing by the fire after a hard day in the field, to four-legged visitors equally exhausted after long walks and family days out on our marvellous north Norfolk beaches or in the beautiful woods at Sandringham."
Anthony said: "Our fragrant walled garden is perfect for dogs to enjoy a drink with their owners, and we are happy for dogs to sit with their owners in one of our cosy bars, or in our airy Garden Room, whilst their owners eat, maybe receiving one of our organic dog treats at the same time.
"A number of our bedrooms are dog friendly and dogs staying overnight are greeted with welcome packages. Dogs are an important part of the family, so there’s no excuse to put them kennels – bring everyone to us!”
The Rose & Crown is the currently Good Pub Guide Norfolk Dining Pub of the Year and The Good Food Guide’s Local Gem. It has16 bedrooms, many of which are dog friendly.
Prince William relaunched the hospitality industry following lockdown by visiting The Rose & Crown on July 3.
