Hunstanton, Swaffham and Fakenham could see snow tomorrow with Met Office yellow weather warning in place




A yellow weather warning has been issued as snow and ice are expected to hit Norfolk tomorrow.

The Met Office has said that snow could fall in Hunstanton, Swaffham and Fakenham, as well as the surrounding villages. It looks set to miss most of Lynn as well as Downham.

Snowy showers are due to hit Norfolk at some point tomorrow morning between 1am and 12pm.

It could leave 1cm to 3cm of snow in places and there will also be ice on untreated roads and surfaces.

Forecasters have said roads and railways are likely to be affected by the cold weather and could cause disruption to travel.
