Snow in West Norfolk as yellow weather warning issued




After strong winds hit the area yesterday, a yellow weather warning has now been issued for snow this afternoon (Monday, February 10).

The Met Office has issued the warning from 2pm until 7pm for large parts of West Norfolk including Lynn.

Snow is expected to fall across many areas of the UK today including Scotland, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Lancashire.

The weather service has warned people the snow may cause disruption with some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times predicted.

A yellow weather warning has also been issued for parts of the UK tomorrow (Tuesday, February 11) but West Norfolk is not affected.
