Russell Bowlby sent this picture in of a pothole, one of 20 deep ones around West Acre he says is on the road from the top of Tumbleyhill Road to Gayton Thorpe.

He says they pose a serious safety threat to all road users, particularly cyclists and motorcyclists, and “us locals” run the gauntlet of these every day.

He said: “We have informed Highways multiple times. Their response, is ‘We have assessed that the defect does not currently meet our intervention criteria’. Well, what does?”
