Spa day at Boughton focuses on healthy skin

A spa day looking at improving and maintaining healthy skin will take place at Boughton tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14.

The event takes place at Grassmere, The Green, and is being run by nutritionist Jane Rose-Land. It has the theme 'Healthy Skin Starts Within'.

Jane will be talking about the nutrients that support the health of cell membranes that are important for how the skin looks and what its continuing needs are as people age.

She will be demonstrating how to cook with foods that support the skin as well as providing tips on healthy eating. Recipes are gluten and dairy free, and apart from one, are also suitable for vegans.

There will also be the opportunity to make a face mask using natural ingredients and guests will have the use of a hot tub and steam room.

Lunch will be included at the event which runs from 10am to 4pm. The cost for the day is £60 and further treatments are available to book, such as deep massage, reflexology, hot stone massage, pedicures and manicures.
