Champagne and oyster lunch at Titchwell Manor Hotel as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations
Continuing with its series of special events to mark its 30th anniversary this year, Titchwell Manor Hotel is holding a champagne and oyster lunch.
At the event on Saturday, September 15, the oysters, served hot and cold, will be supplied by Brancaster Staithe fishing business C Southerland & Son Shellfish.
Martine Couet of family-owned French company Champagne Moutard will be joining guests who will also be able to watch bottles opened dramatically by the so-called sabering method.
Champagne Moutard has been growing grapes south of Troyes, France, since 1642 and uses traditional grape varieties in its production of champagne. It is the only company to produce a champagne style that goes back 200 years.
