Spiking by injection incident on Norfolk Street King's Lynn
Norfolk police have confirmed they are investigating a spiking incident in Lynn.
The method used was spiking by injection, a new sinister method of spiking that has come to light in recent months.
It involves quickly injecting the victim with a needle filled with date rape drugs such as GHB or ketamine.
The news comes as police warned cases have been on the rise, ahead of Halloween weekend.
The incident occurred on Norfolk street on October 31, the exact premises has been withheld.
Police are reminding revellers to be extra vigilant following the rise in occurrences.
At the end of last month there were six reports of spiking in Norfolk.
