Spooky goings-on to enjoy this half-term in King’s Lynn
St Nicholas’ Chapel and True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum in Lynn are offering a range of activities for all ages this half-term.
From October 20-28 explore the Chapel to find the missing Halloween character in the Spooky Silhouettes trail. Trails cost £1, with a prize included at the end.
On October 25, from 11am-2pm, hop around the corner to True’s Yard Museum for Halloween family activities, gory games, creepy crafts and frightful fun! It costs £1.50 for children. Free for adults and members of The Time Club.
On October 26 at 6pm True’s Yard will be holding a paranormal evening with ghost expert Rob Clapperton of FG Ghost Research.
It is open to all ages and is a chance to see the technology involved in ghost research, as well as trying it for yourself!
Starts at True’s Yard at 6pm-8.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and include a hot drink.
On October 27 you can join True’s Yard Museum for the North End Ghost Walk, before visiting the Chapel for a rare evening opening to enjoy the warm glow of the angel lights.
Starting at 6pm at True’s Yard the costumed guide will take you on a tour of the darker side of Lynn. Tickets cost £5 and include a hot drink and Halloween treats.
The Chapel will stay open until 8pm as part of the Museum at Night festival; entry is free, donations welcome.

Nine spooky shapes have been hidden around the Chapel, but one has gone missing. Find the missing one to claim your prize. £1 per trail. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Gory Games and Creepy Crafts
October 25, 11am-2pm
Get into the Halloween spirit with some ‘fangtastic’ family fun. Games, crafts and more. Children £1.50, adults free, Time Club members free. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
October 26, 6pm-8.30pm
See the technology involved with ghost research and have a go yourself. Tickets £5 (includes a hot drink).
North End Ghost Walk
October 27, 6pm-7pm
Take a walk on the dark side and learn about the ghosts of the North End. Tickets £5 (includes a hot drink and Halloween treats).
Museums at Night
October 27, 4 – 8pm
Free entry to the Chapel until 8pm.
