They are taking part in M&S's national volunteering drive, Making Every Moment Special week which begins on Monday. Altogether around 5,000 M&S employees are getting involved in nearly 700 local projects.

Karen Leone, who took over as manager at Lynn's M&S store on Wednesday, said: "We're really excited to be coming together as a team to support the Purfleet Trust. Volunteering makes a profound difference to communities and we believe lots of small actions from lots of people create a lasting impact to initiatives that do so much good in Lynn."

All the community projects taking place throughout the UK have a common goal which is to bring people together, from creating vibrant outdoor spaces for the bereaved and elderly to hosting events during The Great Get Together on Junee 22-24 to connect people affected by loneliness.
