Staff members clean up The Walks stadium

Staff members from Spar and Subway on Tennyson Road have been working together to clean up The Walks stadium.

Connor Thrower said: “Our staffing team at Spar and Subway took part in a community engagement project at Lynn town football club.

“Throughout the day we painted both changing rooms, the medical room, part of the clubhouse and cleaned the 1,040 seats in the main stand, all in preparation for the new season.”

The clean up was organised through a donation from the Blakemore foundation, which enabled them to buy all the materials needed to complete the job.

Mr Thrower added: “All the staff that took part worked and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and found it to be a great team building experience away from our usual roles within the store.”
