Coastal trek from Holkham one of many to support charity

The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is encouraging trekkers to join their fundraising challenge.

Trek 24 is seeking participants to undertake 24 miles or 24km and raise money for the charity that help lives in East Anglia.

This year there are two events planned in May and in September in Norfolk.

The Norfolk Broads to Norwich Trek takes place Saturday, May 7, with a route that celebrates the fantastic county.

On Sunday, September, 11, the Norfolk coast path starts at Holkham encountering cliffs, sand dune, creeks and golden beaches.

Fundraising helps to keep EAAA helicopters in the air and exists to to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in the region.

The life-saving charity is kept airborne by the supporters who fundraise.
