Festival Too are looking for volunteer stewards to help make sure that their 30th birthday celebrations go smoothly.
The two-week extravaganza is one of Europe’s largest non-ticketed free festivals and help is required on the following dates: July 3, 4, 10 and 11.
The role of a steward is to help maintain the safety of those in attendance and play a crucial part in the event and you may even get the opportunity to meet some of the acts.
Refreshments and full training will be provided.
Committee member Nathan Hollands said: “Without the support and help of volunteers, Festival Too wouldn’t be celebrating it’s 30th birthday and where it is today.
“The stewards are very much the eyes and ears of the event and have a vital role to play.
“They help with anything from lost children to making sure that streets are clean after an event.”
If you are community-minded, level headed and would like to be a part of this year’s celebrations, call Nathan Hollands on 07986 330257.
