Storm Eunice closes Sandringham tomorrow

LEARN MOREStorm Eunice has prompted the Sandringham Estate to say it will be closed tomorrow.
A statement on its website says: "Due to the amber warning and high winds over 80mph forecast, all areas at Sandringham on Friday, will remain closed.
"All areas includes Sandringham Gardens, Shop, Restaurant, Terrace Café, Kiosk, Visitor Car Parks, Children's Play Area and the Arboretum.
"For the safety of all, we strongly advise that visitors do not attempt to visit Sandringham Royal Parkland on Friday 18 February.
"We will continue to monitor the forecasts and will carry out any necessary safety checks prior to reopening visitor facilities on Saturday 19 February.
"Any visitors with pre-booked tickets and/or Afternoon Tea will be contacted and refunded automatically."
The less serious Storm Dudley has already caused disruption in Norfolk with power supplies interuppted and trees felled.
Gusts of close to 70mph are predicted for tomorrow afternoon by the Met Office.
