Parts of West Norfolk could be affected by thunderstorms later today, forecasters say

A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for the East of England, effective from 4pm this afternoon until 3am tomorrow.

The warning says storms are likely across the region and there is a "slight chance" of disruption to power supplies and other services.

At present, the warning does not cover Lynn or Hunstanton, but does cover areas around Downham, Swaffham and Fakenham.
